The new Fire Fob is a must have for anyone who spends time outdoors. Simply cut the cord from the end of the lanyard and remove the Ferrocerium flint rod. Then with the top, or spine edge of your knife, tool or any other metal object, scrape along the rod until you get sparks. The resulting sparks are burning metal pieces between 150-180 degrees Celsius - more than enough to start a life saving fire in the event of an emergency.
